Who We Are
Swobsu6m is a creative movement studio and urban performance collective rooted in the UK. We sit at the crossroads of contemporary dance and urban movement, offering a space where technique, improvisation, and performance meet.
We were formed under the umbrella of Frontline Dance, with a clear mission: to make high-quality dance training and performance accessible, and to build a community of movers who value both rigour and creativity. Our name reflects our identity—distinct yet connected to a wider ecosystem of dance in the UK.
Our Ethos
We believe that dance is for everyone. Whether you have been training for years or are stepping into a studio for the first time, we aim to meet you where you are. Our classes and workshops are designed to develop strength, flexibility, and artistic confidence without sacrificing the joy of moving.
We prioritise clarity of intention in every session. Our teachers are practising artists who understand the demands of professional dance, but who also care deeply about inclusive, safe, and supportive teaching. We encourage questions, experimentation, and collaboration.
What We Offer
From weekly dance classes for all levels to intensive creative workshops and live performances, we provide multiple entry points into our work. You can train regularly, dip in for a single workshop, or join us as an audience member at a show.
